Your Rights and Responsibilities - A Charter for Consumers of the South Australian Public Health System represents a commitment from the State Government to the ensuring your rights and needs are met by the public health system. 

The Charter provides information about your rights to information, consent to treatment, confidentiality of your personal health information and your right to receive appropriate care.

The Charter also provides useful information about how you can participate in decision making about your health care and summarises your responsibilities as a consumer of health services.
